The Crawford County Health Department in Steelville has shot clinics every Wednesday from 8-11:30 AM and 1:00- 5:30 PM. Student must be accompanied by parent if 18 or under. Please call 573-775-2555 EXT #1 for more information.

Wal-Mart and Walgreen's pharmacies also provide immunizations and are covered under most insurances. Please call their pharmacy for more information.

Remember, if your child is going in to 8th grade he/she must have a TDAP booster and a Meningitis vaccine to be compliant with state requirements.
If your child is entering 12th grade he/she will need a Meningitis vaccine. Please call the school nurse for more information.
SIS Mobile App Updates available
An update has been made available that stabilizes the on line payments using mobile devices.

This updated app is now available on the Apple iTunes App Store and the Google Play Store. Along with all of that, for the first time Student 360 Mobile is also available on the Amazon App Store, which supports both Android devices and Amazon’s Kindle Fire and Fire HD tablets. Student information

After school tutoring and credit recovery will be in the library after school until 5:00, Monday – Thursday.

 

There are T-shirts for sale in the HS office.  They are $5.00 and the sizes are Large – 2XL.  Get yours while they last.

 

Our Volleyball Pink Out date will be 10/2/18. We will be playing a conference match against Belle. We are excited to be selling Pink Out shirts to everyone in the district and the community.  All of the money that we raise will be donated.  T-Shirts will be $10.00 per shirt - an extra $2.00 for 2XL and larger.  Sizes are YM thru Adult 3XL.  You can order yours in the HS office.

 

There was an Amazon tablet and a power bank charger turned into the office.  Please come and claim them.

·         All juniors and seniors are encouraged to sign up to take the October 27 ACT test.  This test will be at BHS.  Registration deadline is September 28.  Students who receive free/reduced lunch are entitled to a fee waiver.  See the counselor to request the FEE WAIVER.  The cost of the ACT is $50.50 (No Writing.)

·         Make sure to mark the Counselor Page as a favorite.  Lots of information and opportunities are posted on the page including job openings, scholarships, and help links. 

 

September 20      -        Senior Night at BHS-All Seniors and their parents/guardians are invited to attend and informational meeting discussing post-secondary plans, financial aid, and other important senior decisions.  The meeting will be from 6:00-7:30 p.m.  A guest speaker will be available to answer questions about college admission and the cost of attendance.

 

September 28      -        ACT Registration Deadline for the October 27, 2018, test

Mark your calendars to attend the ACT BOOT CAMP.  This BOOT CAMP is for any students taking the ACT on October 27.  Students will practice test, receive tips for taking the test, refresh skills, and gain valuable information to increase your test score.  It is helpful if you can attend ALL sessions.  BOOT CAMP begins on Monday, October 15 and will be offered every day after school until 5 p.m.  See Ms. Ray if you need additional information.

October 9                      -        ALL juniors ASVAB testing (8:00-12:00)
