Scholarships are provided by local organizations, businesses, and families.  Read the instructions CAREFULLY.  You are responsible for checking and meeting eligibility requirements.  Note and verify all deadlines.  Missed deadlines will void your application. ALL SCHOLARSHIPS ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY AND CHANGE AS MANDATED BY THE SPONSOR.  Please make sure the applications is complete, neatly typed or handwritten, and turned in on time.  Please remember to MAKE A COPY of any of the Google forms and use "SAVE AS" to keep all completed applications.  READ THE DIRECTIONS FOR EACH SCHOLARSHIP-some will require you to submit the application directly and some will be turned in to the counselor's office.  If you are not sure, please ask.  If you need letters of recommendation, ASK EARLY!!

Apartment Guide Scholarship - Submit a 500-600 word essay answering the question “What is your responsibility towards ending homelessness?”  We’re asking you to spend some time thinking and writing about your responsibility towards ending or improving homelessness. This could be homelessness in your immediate community or the problem of homelessness in general. Think about what causes the problem of homelessness. Do you even think it is a problem we should solve? Does every individual need to have a house or is it ok that some may prefer to live differently? What is the difference between being a vagabond and being homeless? What can you do to help those in our society who would like to have a home but don’t have one? Submit your essay for a chance to win $2,500. All essays are due by April 12th!

CFO Scholarships (Community Foundation of the Ozarks)- There are 327 Scholarships available across their service area.  Check out the page and either create an account or use the access code PUBLIC.  Deadlines vary.

The Robert and Dorothy Wind Family Scholarship is now available.  This is a $1,000 scholarship available to a graduating high senior pursuing a career in First Responder Emergency Services (Fire Fighter; EMT-Paramedic; Law Enforcement Officer).  The deadline is March 19, 2019.

Albert & Fenner Scholarship is now available.  Application is completed online.

Youth Forward Scholarship Opportunity - National Driving and Traffic School is proud to announce their 2019 scholarship opportunity, entitled “In the Driver’s Seat.” The company is seeking to reward essay applicants $3,000 in scholarships- for students enrolled as a High School Sophomore, Junior, or Senior or as a College Freshman – on the topic of being a safer driver.

Ava's Grace Scholarship is now available.  This scholarship is for students who have, or have had, a parent incarcerated.  Deadline is April 15.  (This application can be accessed through Scholarship Central)

Students are responsible for all deadlines.  Deadlines may be adjusted at the discretion of the scholarship organization.  Scholarships may be discontinued or modified without prior notice.  Scholarships must be returned to Ms. Ray by deadline for submission.

ZIP Recruiter has a $3,000 scholarship available.  The deadline is June 30 and December 31.  In order to be eligible students must be 18 and enrolled in classes by the deadline.  Create a 500-800 word essay describing a job you have previously held or currently hold.  Describe your ideal post-graduate job.

Nursing Schools Almanac Scholarship is now available. The scholarship will be awarded to the applicant who best demonstrates: + A track record of academic excellence, particularly in science and mathematics; + A passion for the nursing profession and the overall field of healthcare.  This scholarship competition is open to all high school seniors who plan to pursue college education in nursing, including LPN / LVN, ADN, and BSN programs. Scholarship applications will be accepted until midnight on August 31, 2018.

The Recovery Village Healthcare Scholarship is now available.  The Recovery Village is dedicated to maintaining exceptional service while providing unique opportunities for education and personal development. As part of this commitment, The Recovery Village is offering a $1,000 scholarship to students pursuing a medical-related course of study.  To enter to win a $1,000 scholarship, simply submit a short essay (no more than 500 words) describing why you are passionate about substance use disorder and mental health treatment. Essays can be in the form of a personal narrative with a medical perspective or focus specifically on clinical experience.

The Missouri Association of Financial Aid Personnel (MASFAP) is excited to tell you that we are offering a onetime $1,000.00 scholarship to a 2018 graduating senior! Students must have a Gmail account to apply and we highly suggest they use an email that can be accessed after graduation)!! Any 2018 Graduating Senior from a Missouri High School planning to attend a private or public 2 or 4 year institution, or vocational-technical school in Missouri in fall 2018. Horatio Algers Scholarship Applications are now available.  Students must demonstrate integrity, perseverance in overcoming adversity, have financial need, a good academic record, and a desire to contribute to society.  You must apply online.

The Aspiring Animation Professional Scholarship is now available. This is the 5th year we are awarding this scholarship for We are offering high school seniors the opportunity to win a $1,000 scholarship.  This will be awarded to students that are interested in pursuing an animation career path at an accredited post-secondary school or college.
